April 30, 2011 Volterrific treated himself to a First Class Suite on Emirates Airlines A380 Super Jumbo from Bangkok to Hong Kong.
He says he doesn't normally fly First Class, so this was a special experience.
The cost for the short 3 hour one-way flight from BKK-HKG in April 2011 was $550 USD. The reverse one-way flight from HKG-BKK is higher due to airport taxes. Of course a longer first class flight would be much more expensive. This BKK-HKG segment is a stopover in Bangkok on Emirates flight EK 384 from Dubai to Hong Kong.
