Uhuru/Jamhuri Day is a time for Tanzanians/Kenyans to express their gratitude for their freedom through dance, feasting, parades, and other optional public events. All of the activities that are performed on UHURU/Jamhuri Day are representations of the way Tanzanians/Kenyans view life, and the values that stand within their society. Uhuru/Jamhuri Day is significant to the Tanzanian/Kenyan people because it reminds them of where they have come from as a nation and it is an illustration of unity in its greatest form.
This Year, we are inviting all Tanzanians/Kenyans in the UK to come and Celebrate with us as we bring different acts from Dar es salaam and Nairobi to spice up the event. Venues will be in the North and South of England and we believe that there will be massive response after we announce the acts. This is a one off event that you dont want to miss, Lets all come together and celebrate our independence day pamoja. AU SIO!
